I first started in the security business back in 1998 at a hospital located in the eastern part of North Carolina. I enjoy this industry because of the impact I can have on crime – and because you never know what to expect because there is always something new around every corner.
How have past careers prepared you for Iverify?
My experience in the security industry has taught me just how far criminals will go to commit a crime, whether it’s shoplifting, burglary or armed robbery – always expect the unexpected. Dealing with people in stressful situations has also given me the patience to deliver compassionate customer service and strengthened my attention to detail.
What brought you to Iverify?
I wanted to work for a company dedicated to using the latest technology, hiring the best people and working vigorously to become the best in the industry.
How do you contribute to the Iverify difference?
I’ve learned that, in the security industry, you are only as good as how you handled a customer’s last event. So I work every single day to help our clients reduce their shrink or address their robbery problems. My goal is to have a real impact on crime.
What has been the most amazing experience you’ve had at Iverify?
That would have to be the first time I was involved in a proactive apprehension. It was the first apprehension Iverify had done for this particular customer and there was a very positive outcome. That’s a feeling you never get tired of!
