At approximately 17:45, a duress panic was received from the stockroom. Protection Specialist 196 contacted the stockroom and no one answered. Register 2 was then contacted and the store manager stated they had been robbed at gun point.
Suspect Activity
The subjects that had entered the location were African American males. One subject was wearing a white T-shirt with a black head wrap and black pants. The other subject was wearing a black-and-gray sweatshirt with a hood and dark blue jeans. One subject had a rifle or shotgun; the second subject accompanied him towards Register 2. The subjects pushed the associates head towards the register, took the money from the drawer and ran out of the location.
Iverify Response
The manager requested police be dispatched. Protection Specialist 196 attempted to dispatch police but then noticed the police had already entered the location. Protection Specialist 196 spoke with Sergeant Sherwood and gave a description of the subjects. Sergeant Sherwood stated he did not have a report number at the moment and would need a copy of the video. The police are still on site investigating. Further follow up will be conducted.
