Protection Specialist, The "I"
About the Job
Protection Specialists work in Iverify’s state-of-the-art audio and video monitoring center, called The “I”, protecting people and businesses by applying innovative security techniques. We deliver protection solutions using breakthrough technologies that put eyes, ears and voice commands in every corner of our clients’ businesses. Protection Specialists focus on reducing robberies, burglaries and shrink through the use of interactive technology that allows them to proactively perform guard tours and perimeter protection, as well as respond to incoming emergency and non-emergency activation signals.
Requirements
- This position requires a high school degree (or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years experience in law enforcement, security, dispatching or a customer service call center related field
- Experience in a monitoring or security service environment, including heavy telephone and PC usage, is strongly preferred
- Strong customer service, client interaction, written and verbal communication skills are desired
- Practical, operational understanding of CCTV systems, alarm systems, and audio/video equipment
- Typing 40 WPM
- Ability to pass hearing and eye examinations and drug and alcohol testing
- Clear criminal history
Scheduling
- Iverify is a 24/7/365 operation
- Protection Specialists must be able to work on a rotating schedule that may include varying shifts, holidays and weekends in order to adequately support the department’s duties and responsibilities
- Must be available to work one 8 hour shift each Saturday or Sunday
