In 2004, Mike May became President and Chief Executive Officer of Iverify. A seasoned law-enforcement and business-security expert, Mike has more than 30 years experience building and investing in successful security-service companies. He has used his extensive background in law enforcement and security services to lead Iverify through a tremendous period of growth and continues to position the company for future expansion.
Prior to taking the helm at Iverify, Mike was President and cofounder of VideoMinex Inc., an early implementer of security-based interactive video. While with VideoMinex, he was instrumental in the purchase of InterSTAR Systems from SAFE Security, a division of GE, another pioneer in the interactive-video industry. Mike is a former General Manager for ADT, where he operated a business unit of 80,000 customers and managed its growth from $26MM to $48MM in sales.
Mike has founded a number of security and protective-service companies throughout his career, including SecurityEast, a national burglar alarm monitoring company which he later sold to First Security in Boston, Massachusetts. He also founded The Pioneer Company, a three part company that consisted of retail investigative services, guard services and security systems.
Mike is a former sergeant on the Shrewsbury Police Department in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts and a graduate of the College of Criminal Justice at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
